So today I have a whole day to kill and unfortunately the weather is still quite crappy: overcast with slight drizzle but the temperature still really nice. After a bit of a sleep-in I went for a walk around the market and tried to find some new foods to try. As my stomach is much better (after about 3 weeks) I am now ready to start trying new foods again but Ofcourse trying to be more careful where I buy foods from. As it is Saturday there are a few extra markets going on and I stumbled across a flower market in front of the cemetery that was selling all kinds of flowers and food snacks. I found this strange meat and yuka (root vegetable similar to potato) paddy thing that i just had to try. Unfortunately like most things here it was cooked in a ton of oil and dripping with fat which overshadowed the nice taste of it. There were these kids selling avocado out of a wheelbarrow on the side of the road and I managed to pick up 3 avocado for 20c - unbelievably cheap and hopefully they don't taste to bad. In the afternoon I went for a walk to try and find the Rurrenabaque lookout but had no luck so I just wondered around all the streets I had not ventured down. It started to pour with rain so I had to hide undercover for half an hour before bolting back to my accommodation where I spent the rest of the afternoon trip planning. For dinner I had roast chicken and salad again and it was absolutely delicious - I have been going to the same guy everynight and tonight he must of felt like I was a valued customer and gave me an extra large serving. Once again the music pumped all night and I had quiet a but of trouble sleeping but no worries tomorrow I will be back in La Paz.
