Today was our first day in San Francisco! We explored the Fisherman's Wharf, specifically Pier 39! We were entertained by the sea lions and amazed at how much the Pier looked like Myrtle Beach! We tried to get tickets for MUNI, but realized that today was a free transportation day due to the 100th anniversary, making for really long cable car lines! We found Ghirardelli and bought chocolates! Lunch was at Blue Mermaid: Thom had crab salad & oysters and Julie had fish tacos! We found a SB with a clover brewing system & spent the afternoon resting in the inn. Dinner was take out salad and panini from Mario's bohemian cigar store cafe. Big news was Robert's birth at 6:00 Pacific time.
