That's the strap line for Kangaroo Island marketing to tourists and so very true.
Today has been pretty chilled. Having seen wallabies in the garden again this morning and a goanna, we had a leisurely breakfast. We headed into a Penneshaw and whilst Lesley did some admin I walked along the coast to Hog Bay. The air seems so fresh here, the waters so clear and the wildlife is amazing. I love it!
Hog bay was yet another beautiful beach (if you ignored the docked ferry behind you!). I picked up some steak for supper and we headed back to the beach house for a lazy day reading books and lolling around in the sun. Lesley chose to brave the beach, complete with jelly fish and pelicans chasing her. I had a quiet time in the garden reading my book, drinking Chardonnay.
We cooked a lovely team effort supper and filled the rest of the evening with a walk along the beach (trying to avoid the crazy Pelicans), packing, tv and watching the sunset. I will be sad to leave this place, which has really felt like home.
