Hey all
Since my last blog we have driven the Great Ocean Road - B100 and taken the overnight bus to Sydney of which is where we are currently staying.
Cant really say much about the Great Ocean Road and can only let the photos do the talking, of which they still dont capture the true beauty of it but still pretty good!
We started off by hiring a car and making our way from Melbourne onto the M1. Here we stopped off at Torquay, Angellsea, Lorne, the famous lighthouse used in the tv programme 'Around the Twist', the 12 Apostles at sunset, Port Campbell, Loch ard Gorge and Princetown.
We drove for two days stopping the night in Port Campbell.
Along the drive you are constantly following the coastline to see magnificant crashing waves and secluded beaches.
We also stopped off at a housing estate to do a bit of kuola hunting, of which we were fortunate enough to see them sleeping within the trees. Bless!
Through out the journey we did many stops from scenic points. My favourite by far was Loch ard gorge where we took a path down to a river which led into the sea. Here we stood on the rocks to have massive waves crash against the rocks. Truely awesome. Lucky we didnt get wet even though we constantly were on the look out for when we did a photo taking session!
I dont really have anything further to say then take a look at the pics, if they upload!!?
Were currently in Sydney of which we took an overnight bus here taking 12hrs from Melbourne. Unfortunatley, Lisa got all her valuables including passport stolen,so Sydney hasnt yet been the best of starts. Staying in Kings Cross for one night which is the red light district of Sydney! Interesting times!! Now staying in a stunning house in North Sydney with a friend we met along our travels called Mitch. Its so nice to be in a house again, and im soon going to go and enjoy my first bath in 2 months!
Also today it did redeem itself as we had a calling in our hostel for people to ride on Harley Davidson motorbikes around Sydeny in wedding dresses for $60! Lisa was the only one that got to wear a dress out of the two if us, as i road in a following landrover as they were recording it for a film promotion opening in Aus this week! This was an awesome way to see the city as we went over the Sydney bridge, up through the botanical gardens and loads more, such a wicked way to see the city. I got to ride back on a tri-bike! So cool! Want a harley now?!!
Off for a bath now, speak again soon. Making our way to surf camp on saturday at 6.30am!! Yuk!
Muchos Love to all xX
