Had a crazy weekend at the Boryeong Mud Festival. Train ride 3 hours south of Seoul. Heaps of foreigners off for a mad mud weekend. Town puts on mud events like mud slides, mud wrestling, mud prison - lots of blow up things with lots of mud. Saturday was cloudy but only got cold and windy late in day. Greeting All, Just a quick blog before heading off on a major sight seeing expadition. It has been some time since I was able to update the blog so there is lots to catch up on. After our weekend in Gyeong-ju Hayley headed back to Seoul and Zoe and I took the bus to Busan just under an hour away.It is on the south west coast and has beaches claimed to be amongst the best in the world.I planned to take a ferry to one of the islands off the coast on our second day there.Zoe however was not so sure about this.Turns out Zoe's influence on the weatheri...

This blog entry is really about Gyeong-ju but I wrote it in Busan. After an early start on Saturday morning we caught the 5.55am train from Seoul to Gyeong-ju. About a four hour train ride to the south east of Seoul. Zoe, Hayley and everyone else in the carriagre slept most of the way (photo coming when I get back to Seoul).
