I have been wondering what I can do to fill a void.... What do I like to do? Walk and hug dogs, listen to music, travel, see and swoon over architecture, garden / work with my hands, see trees and sunshine, feel like I make a difference, have fun. None of these seemed to hold much opportunity for a new 'thing' to do.

After pushing it out of my mind for a few days I finally looked up Habitat for Humanity and perused their website.
After pushing it out of my mind for another day I sent an email to one of the team leads asking for some info.
After pushing it out of my mind for 2 more days I sent in my application.
Today I recieved my acceptance to join a Canadian team of 12 heading to an impoverished area of Portugal to spend some time late May/early June on a build. I added a few pictures of the area to the Photo Gallery. More to come....
