Friends, Romans, Countrymen!
So, finding internet has been harder than I thought since we started traveling. This is why I have unable to put up lots of my France pictures, but don't worry- as soon as I can, there will be many new photos for y'all to see.
Saturday was a free day in Beaune. It was a time of great relaxation. In the morning, I went to a street market full of food/clothes/junk. Then I spent the rest of the day hanging out in my hotel room with Cristina. We worked on our journals and watched cartoons on television- everything else was in French, and even the American shows were dubbed. But Pink Panther? Tom & Jerry? You don't have to know French to watch those, and they were awesome! That night we had a wine tasting, courtesy of Brian Masters. We tried 5 different reds from Burgundy. He saved the best for last, he said, and that one truly was the best wine I have ever tasted in my life. Then we had a group dinner, with more wine. I know when to stop, but some others got a little crazy that night. Someone who shall remain anonymous (let's just call her Qwisdina) came up to me at one point with this white face mask on and said, "Hello Scrooge!!!! I am the Ghost of Christmas Paaaaast."
Sunday we took a bus to the airport at Lyon and flew to Rome. For dinner, we all went to this awesome pizzeria. Gelato afterwards, of course.
Unforunately, the time on my internet usage is coming to an end, so I'll have to save what I did today for later. Ciao!

Sabah I absolutely adore this comic.Yes, the lulls in bweteen are long, but I for one have no issues with them. The spaces bweteen pages makes them seem almost like a gift, like something special that should be savored, and that's what this comic is.I studied the way you color and line your pages, as well as how you use facial expressions, and I have to say, it's helped me a great deal in my own artwork. The almost casual grace some of the characters seem to have is amazing, and how you translate each personality through their body language is just astounding.Thankyou so much for producing this wonderful work of art, and I will always check back for updates until the day it reaches it end. I will never leave The Meek. It is far too good.I appreciate all the work you do, dear. I hope you feel better soon, and that all your health problems will clear up without too much trouble.Get well!-Vee
