Hey Everyone! Arrived safely despite a horribly stressful but hilarious journey here. The 12 hour flight was never ending and inculded a crazy 400m sprint to our departure gate in madrid. We did however spot Holly Valance and partner at passport control...Hannah write into Heat! After being awake for 24 hours, we certainly appreciated Will´s grans posh appartments, and comfy beds.

This morning after getting on the wrong train, we had our first encounter with the real poverty of SA.. seeing some ramshackle slum/rag train, full of urchin children pushing trolleys full of junk. We passed their shanty town home later on, in the safety of our proper train (which had proper windows, instead of grimey cages!). We got to Retiro station safely, but were forced into buying a map, which resulted in the highly unsuccessful attempt by some strange little man, to rob us! We just had a nice picnic in a hilly park, in the sunshine, and are going to go home for a siesta and sunbathe on the roof, and test out the nightlife later. Alice admitts that she ought to have brought ´proper´shoes.. no the shoes are FINE!! Everyone has tramp shoes.
