Mike the Cat Oh any chance of shipping some meat over? My owners (Alan and Emma ... see below) once bought some meat back from New Zealand ... they carried it in a back pack and got through customs by pretending it was a load of books. Mmm delicious! (re: Alan and Emma ... I was sick on their new bedroom carpet last night! Rock on! and the night before got stuck on the church roof, it was dark and everything - I pretended to be stuck and every time Alan got near I rolled over for a tickle but just out of his reach! Alan had to rescue me in the end cos it always looks further to jump on the way down and I didn't want to mess up my trousers ... got the lazy slouchers out eh! Here's to the alley cat life ... Meeeooow!) Watch out for any big snakes that get close up and start to wrap around you ... they can quite take your breath away!
Steve Hollands So you did the death road and lived! Glad to hear you're having a good time. Steve
re: Cusco, PeruBrother Ben so much steak.. where does it come from cow or llama? or frog? maybe I'm interested because i had a veggie meal yesterday... car crash sounds fun. hard to imagine the geology, but that must be fun too.
re: La Paz, Boliviamumsie About 10 0'clock last night I slipped into the deepest, bubbliest hot bath and lay there, book in one hand and wine in the other, for 40+ mins soaking away the troubles and dirt of the day. And you ? P.S. We put Ben's ' Marshmallow' matress on your bed ready for your return.... x

re: Salta, ArgentinaGrace Josh, So good to hear you are alive and well! We missed you after you left and then we had to say bye bye to Ames so then we were even sadder! Anyway as I predicted, East and I arrived back in the UK on Fri and the weather has been horrid ever since. I hope it's good for you! Keep updating, it will be good to hear about things we did too! xxxx
re: Paraty, BrazilMike Meat-tastic! If I ate that much I'd have to sleep it off for a day on some damp mud under a bush and then bring up a fur ball. Look out for capybara's in the wetlands. I think I would like one as a friend ... they don't eat meat which is fine by me! We are having a shed/summer house/log store/wine cellar/cattery built in the back garden. It is bigger than the Dover one and will probably have the doors on the right way. Me and Beyonce took a slow worm into the alley way and bit its head off! Ha Ha! for being slow! Ha Ha! Hip Hip!
re: Paraty, BrazilBrother Ben hellolo I am back. With Rachel too, which is nice. The campervan was brilliant fun. Very difficult to drive but that was a good challenge and it made us sit back and take things slow. Also we were running on three cylinders for the last few days which was very noisey and chuggy, didn't stop us touring the Black mountains and Pembrokeshire though! Very nice colour, who'd have thought she was green. It was funny just before we got to her we bought two mint feasts, some polos and some sour skittles, all green items! Named after the man's daughter Ella. I especially liked the upstairs room, good for views. Lots to tell and photos to see but i guess that's the same with you. It sounds very different to home life there. Hope you pick up the Spanish and enjoy! To help you appreciate it more there I'll let you know i've been filing at work for three days now... I've been in you're room. It is ridiculously tidy. I think Mum and Dad did it after the day you gave the go ahead. Oh also nice cake, we took it with us and it went well with teas on the veranda in wales. I'll keep checking the blog. It gives my thumbs a rest from twiddling. Brother Ben
re: Puerto Iguazu, ArgentinaSteve Lol I can just imagine you sat there in some back street in south America, trying to train a dog named Cheryl! Cheryl cole have anything to do with it? Don't know whether you heard but she's got malaria? So that's one more thing you have in common, your almost a perfect match( in your dreams) lol. Hope your well, love to the girls!
re: Puerto Iguazu, ArgentinaSteve Good use of the word traverse there Joshua! Keep up the good work!
re: Buenos Aires, ArgentinaBen Couple of points.. My life is currently so boring now im relying on your 'regular' blogs to keep me dreaming of better times this year! As a former player i have to correct you and state its called table tennis - no buts! I think my bus journeys of the last 6 months might pale into insugnificance compared to what you might have to face potentially over the coming weeks. Also I see your doing your amble best at trumping me at losing my debit card in Vietnam, impressive considering youve been gone less than two weeks! lol and finally glad to see youve done your best at chatting up the lass'. ta ra
