Ive done a rather silly thing, in anticipation of new pics and bloggs......

While rushing down the stairs I decided it would be fun to miss a few steps out !

Outcome top to bottom completed missed, I can tell you not a pretty sight and Josh you can guess who broke my fall, we now have a very sad looking collie dog.

Who probably will be taking a trip to the vets. I dont think ive broken any thing ? mind you Sam had to pick me up so hes back will most likely be complaining

Alex, you must forgive us Pommies. Do not be pressurised by comments from Gav and others demanding a blog of the standard we are used to. I am quite sure that when you, and only you, are ready – then we will be in for a read of the standard no other blog is able to compete with. Sub standard blogs, the like of bav/joey/edge or even lee and duncs, struggle to compete; much like Sheff Utd versus Man Utd. I understand that you are enjoying the partying, beach, beer, female company. Your priorities are important to you so say enjoy, and make us wait – I am sure it will be worth it. When you ignore the pressure, I am sure your writing skills will return to normal without the need of treatment from a doctor – even the fictional Dr Karl.

mrs don is entirely correct with her assertions on the possible nature of alex's neighbours addicition. i too have a dependency upon the greatest of all soaps stemming from too much time in the womb listening to the neighbours theme! my mother reliably informs me that at an age where i was barely able to form single syllables i was perhaps the most proficient person in the world at humming that unfogettable ditty!! as for the writers block, he deserves it for building himself up!(i have made that barbed comment safe in the knowledge that alex will be so indignant when he reads it that he will drop his half empty stella can instantly and craft a blog so masterful that tolkien and shakespeare will be mesmerised in their graves)

Alex's obsession with'Neighbours' is a strange one given that as a child i banned any viewings! Clearly there is a clue here..........Alex was deprived as a child and subsequently he is trying to cram in everything he can in his adult years. i would suggest therapy maybe the Dr could assist...he is a real doctor isn't he?!

Dear Joey its good to know the Boys are in safe hands.

Writers Block, no this goes deeper much deeper, you see Neighbours first hit our screens here in the 80s, now while most unborn babies were played whale music ( sorry about this Teresa, I do include myself and many more 80s mothers) but around 86 87 88 Neighbours was really something & us expecting mothers sat down to watch this new phenomenon, therfore Alex was listerning to the theme tune for about 9 months totaly unaware how this would in later life effect him, perhaps with hindsight we mothers should have kept up the fags and booze, they may have been less damaging.

We can only hope with your help you can pull Alex through this terrible time.Any suggestions on how anyone can help poor Alex would be greatly appreciated.

Dear Mrs Don. We are looking after the troopers well and nursing a certain A.C Neary through his writers block and Neighbours (specifically Karl Kennedy) withdrawal symptoms. We do try and encourage cooking and cleaning but to use either of those terms in relations to the boys would be in the loosest of terms...though Joshua does a mean toast and Alex is excellent at cleaning kebab he drops in the sink at 4am. It's a work in progress!! Joey x
