Hello from Mexico!! just to let you know im here safe and sound. had an awesome time in Cali with Gilly, on wednesday we went to Sea World, which was good fun, saw the dolphins, pilot whales, otters, sealions, walruss and killer whales do their shows - there was a baby killer whale doing the show - so so so cute!there was a shark aquarium, we touched some bat rays (felt like jelly urgh!) and had a chat with a trainer in the dolphin feeding section... will put up photos asap. we then went for sushi and a fair few coronas and tequilas in the evening, resulting in a very drunk jojo lol.

Got here late Thursday night, was already dark, Dulce picked me up, and we went straight out to eat in a little restaurant that was below where i used to live here - so weird sitting there, but very nice! the next morning i wasnt feeling too good so i basically slept, and Dulce dropped me off at the dolphin centre for the afternoon while she went to work. lots of building work had happened, there are a few more pools in the section i was working in, with more sealions, and immediately someone came up behind me and said 'wait....is that who i think it is?!' very nice to hear kind words of surprise to see and recognise me straight away! i went over to the other centre, as that was where i was told id find more people i used to work with, so i jumped in the 'bato'. I hardly know anyone there anymore, but the head trainer Abuelo, recognised me again, and told me to come on pool side and asked if i wanted a swim - which was actually helping out in a training session for two of the mums and babies - one of them being one of the dolphins i used to work with a lot - Shani - it was sooooooooooo good to see her happy and still fat with an adorable baby! Talked a lot to the current volunteer, and to the new trainers i'd not met before, who were all v friendly and just let me chill out there all afternoon. not going to go back too much, but will probably go and help out for a few days i think. i then popped back to the other side to find johnny and torta, which i did - they also seemed happy to see me. Its so funny listening to my voice here - i sound so weird, and am determined not to let my accent get all confused as i try to speak so people out here can understand me, which is what happened last time... little mexican phrases are coming back to me, although im still speaking english most of the time - i hope i get back into the habit of speaking the little spanish i know here. last night we went out to dinner, and this morning has been a bit slow, but off to the beach now so im happy!!
