Hey y'all!

haha what a journey!!! flight was loooooooooooooooooooong, and had a kid screaming for most of it. fun. but at least i had a window seat on an exit, so lots of leg room too :). flew over the date line which was cool, left in the dark, most of the flight was in light, then about half an hour before landing the sun set - the most amazing view, full colours of the rainbow, was beautiful! then flew over LA with all its lights and skyscrapers - its enourmous!!!!! getting through arrivals took faaaar too long - was waiting in line for over an hour, then got to the front of the queue and was sent away because i didnt have Gilly's home address, SOoooo they had to call her over the tannoy to get her to give them an address.... i finally made it out of there and into the cold!!!!!! Gilly's house it so cool, very american of course, and there are 3 dogs and 5 cats! her parents are lovely too - my english accent sounds quite funny over here! so today the sun is shining and i'm going to be shown a few of the sights and sounds of newport beach - so far its just like an ordinary town, but american, so everything is larger than life of course, including Gilly's huge car lol. i think we are going for sushi later, so i'll be happy! and i think sea world is planned in for wednesday :)
