Its abit late but here is goes.

Jordan - Overall I likes the country, good climate in March, friendly and helpful people and the food is fresh and tasty - you know how important food is to me ! The only obvious thing is the lack of ladies on the streets, you could count them on 1 hand, I kid you not, men do everything in the country.

I started in Amman, to be honest apart from a Roman theatre there is nothing to see in the capital, you could give it a miss. I then caught a bus to a Roman town called Jerash, outside Amman. Well preserved, there were Jordanian bag pipe players in 1 of the 2 Theatres - play Scotish pipe music, check it out on the video section of this site.
