Finca El Paraiso I checked out of Tortuga that morning, headed into town and checked into my new hotel, a very basic bed in a room with a fan for $10 a night. Kayaking in rain, sun, rain, sun, repeat!!! Flores to Rio dulce I took the local bus from Flores to Rio Dulce which took the most part of the day. It was a beautiful drive though. I booked a room at Tortuga river lodge and marina, I had to use a public phone when I arrived and they came and picked me up in the Boat. I ended up getting a whole house with about a dozen rooms all separated by screen walls to myself! So it was nice and relaxing, I played my guitar for a while.

Tikal sunrise We woke up at 5:30 and were in the park by 10 to 6, we ended up jogging more than half the way there which turned out to be big-time overkill.....
