Happy birthday to me!!!
Today we drove from La Fortuna to Montezuma and we were told that the roads were supposed to be quite sketchy, they in fact turned out to be quite great with great scenery, except for one small patch of dirt road. EZ PZ!!! We only had to do the patch of dirt road once because we could catch a ferry and avoid it on the way back. Our hotel was called casa colores, and it was the #1 hotel in Montezuma on trip advisor. I never stayed at a number 1 ranked place on trip advisor before and it was a very nice hotel. After checking in we went down to the beach for a bit and I played in the surf, then we went to a nice beach side bar and had some 2-for-1 happy hour drinks! We went back to the hotel and changed for my nice birthday supper, and afterwards went to the bar that was really dead...... Laura and I did a shot of tequila! and got a great picture with the limes in our mouths! Pretty great birthday!
