Minca

About an hour away and 500 m up the mountain from Santa Marta, is Minca. A nice small little mountain town. I decided to stay in Casa Loma hostels, the reviews were great, except for the part about the 200 steps to get there..... Well the reviews didn't lie, it was by far the hardest Hostel I've ever walked too! Also, yes one of the nicest with a beautiful view.
I went for a jog to some fresh water pools called, Polo azul. When I got there I had the whole beautiful place to myself, and oh my, was that water cold!
A few other backpackers,Jesse(Canuck)and Maaike ( Netherlands) showed up a little while later, and we all walked back to town together and got a bite to eat and some beers!
