Hi again. I am currently writting this blog with a bad head from self inflicted alcohol induced symptoms. I therfore have to use all my remaining brain power to try and make sense of whats been goning on. I am currently in capital city Wellington. Its a realy nice city. Small and compact on the harbour, very windy though. It is like a wind tunnel due to its location or something on the planet. We left Rotorua and went to Taupo. This is situated on a massive lake (bigger than Singapour apparently) However did not see much of this due to bad weather. I ultimatly wanted to do a sky dive at this point due to fab location and good prices however left the next day as the weather was not looking to improve. Went down and stopped at National park. this is realy rugged part of the island and has several volcanos located throuout. You can do a realy good and challenging hike called the alpine crossing however again bad weather meant that this was not possible. A bit rubbish realy, things you want to do however pissing rain means not able. So anyway, not much else to do in this sleepy little town so left the next morning and here I am in Wellington. Oh ye forgot to mention the glow worm cave of Waitamo. Did the black water rafting. This basically involves getting into wet suit and sitting in a rubber ring while you get taken around the water chanels in the caves. With lights out and looking up tou can see all the little glow worms glowing their little heads off! Its realy cool, enchanting. There are so many of them. It was realy good. Very wet and cold but well worth it!
Got in yesterday and had wonder around with Jennifer and Cecile. Then we headed out with the rest of the Magic bus group for a farewell drink with our driver. Mike the driver - ace. It was a realy good night! heading out to the museum and another wonder today. Tommorow I will be saying goodbye to the North Island and helo to the South Island. Cant wait.
Hopefully have better weather and more tales to tell. Love all. xxxx
