Hi there everyone this is my first entry of hopefully many, I will try to keep it up. Had my first trip over to LA on monday mornin. Flight was not good. Got stuck on the runnway cos of technical problems, so sat on the plane at the terminal for three hours before we could even take off and then it was 10 and half hrs in the air. LA customs and baggage is a nightmare by the way for anyone planning on going there. it was like a cattle market, there must have been more than 5 jumbo jets arriving at once and people everywere with no idea on a loggical method of gettin through. that took 2hrs aswell so got to hotel at 8 in eve rather than 2 in afternoon as i thought....pants! anyway moan over! on the second day of LA i booked onto a full LA bus excursion. went to hollywood walk of fame, up the hollywood sign and around the home of the famous. It was ace. then we went to Venice beech, how funny that was. I imagined from TV and what iv seen that it would be o so glamorous with people rolling around on rollerblade looking fab. How wong my perception was. It was drab and quite scary. It was a strip of what looked like shanty shops selling tat and strange people everywere. Im just glad I was with a girl I met on the bus when i was walking around. At one point was in a tat shop looking at stuff, went into my bag to get my purse and it wasnt there. Well I think I went green and almost threw up everywere, cos I thought thats it, all me cards, cash gone, me holidays over before it had even started. Well checked me bag again and I had only gone and put me purse in the back pocket of bag, so thank god still there (dam multi pocket bags) not a good feeling at all. Anyway we went up to muscle beech, and how funny that was too. Theres more muscle in a seafood pallela! Very much an eye opener anyway! After our scry time there we went to down town LA and then back to start. Its mostly all ok. Very comercialised and over the top but good. My bed in my hotel room was enormous! It was great. Headed out of LA that night to catch midnight flight (13hrs) to Aukland NZ which went ok. Slept most of it. And here I am in Aukland!
