Last night was a bit crazy here. After a lovely dinner together again and a nice d & m me and josh decided to go for a walk along the beach and through town. We were nearly back at our hotel when we noticed smoke and a funny smell. We didn't think much of it and headed into 7/11 to escape the smoke and then decided to leave when it looked a bit clearer. When we got outside though we looked up and saw that a whole heap of power lines were on fire and burning pretty badly. Some locals were trying so hard to put them out with fire extinguishers but they just kept coming back on fire and new fires even started up on the lines further down. Josh and I were just watching in shock and a bit of fear because no one knew what they were doing and it was getting worse by the minute. I decided to leave after about 20mins cause I could just see someone getting seriously hurt and I knew I couldn't handle that so I left josh there and went back to the hotel. Josh came back about half an hour later and said it was semi under control now but that something bad did happen. I told him to tell me and he said that a doggy got electrocuted and died when a couple of the cables burnt through and fell to the ground. I was so upset and glad I left when I did cause that would have killed me to see and hear that. It just makes me so glad though and grateful to be able to live where I live because over here they just have to live in such unsafe conditions and need so much more education than what they are given here. God is so wonderful to bless me like he has but my heart goes out so much to everyone else who doesn't yet have the privileges I have. I want to change the world so much.

mum cotterill As a mum, I do not like hearing about things that could potentially hurt my family. That is scary what happened because I remember not that long ago hearing about that nice young man who touched a sign not knowing that it was live wires (how would he have known that?) and he died from being electrocuted from it. Please take care of my daughter Josh that sounds scary. Hurry back peeps so I can breathe a sigh of relief to have you back. Lots of love and hugs from mum xxxxxxxxx
