Got back from our weekend in North Wales last night. We had lunch with Jane and Joe Archer, yesterday afternoon. Jane is still not very well, but was in fine form, as was Joe. Joe cooked lunch and as usual it was fantastic but I think they could have fed the whole of Wales with the amount. They both send their love and very best wishes and David has sent the blog details to Jane so I think they will probably leave a message. Out tomorrow night for our anniversery, thanks again for your card. Take onboard what you and the four girls you had dinner with but not all men are the same. My David is a wonderful, loving and thoughtful guy. (David's typing at the moment - I can't find my glasses)
Sounds like your having a tough time at the moment with the wildlife, accom and weather, but onwards and upwards - its Borneo soon and the orangutans We do hope they are all you hope they are. I can't believe you are frightened of these creatures you are meeting, we met bigger and slimier in the Nothern Link and Taskers.
Seriously, be very careful and I really hope you enjoy the last lap of your trip.
love always

Hi Lynne, I've emailed you twice but not received a response, it's not a problem but I didn't want you to think I hadn't responded to you if you haven't received them.
We were getting a little worried when there was no update on your blog, we feel relieved now!! It is 7:30 pm Saturday evening here and raining, it's been miserable all day. I've been sat at my computer since 1:00 pm completing my Annual Appraisal in readiness for Tuesday - D Day!! Steve is just making us evening meal and when ready I'll be off this computer, well for the evening at least.
We're really pleased you enjoyed the Cultural day and that you had dinner with those 4 ladies. It's just what you needed - a girly chat! The Zoo sounds amazing but we can understand your emotion.
You don't seem to be having too much luck at Airlie Beach it's a good job you've met up with Harriet and Jez (poor Jez). However, I'm sure they're pleased to see you!!
How are you doing in the Log Cabin? I'll bet that's an experience for you. The Animal santuary sounded amazing but keep away from them crocs!!! We want you back in one piece! Just hold on Steve's just brought me a Vodka and Coke and I could drink it in one, I feel I've been glued to this computer all afternoon - AAH that's better!!
Keep blogging, we get worried when we don't see an update. I go on everyday to check. I couldn't sleep on Tuesday and was on at 2:30 am, that's when I sent you an email - well it was actually Wednesday morning!!
Love you loads xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Well thank goodness for that! I was beginning to think you'd gone into hibernation!
Glad to hear you're still enjoying your experiences and meeting a few people. Must have been nice to see Harriet and Jez. I guess this is the real deal now - grotty accommodation, weather issues and serious wildlife. Grotty, miserable day here today too. Shame you missed the Whitsundays though.
Handing over to Alexia now who wants to catch up on your blogs. She's looking strangely like a red indian (last night's fake tan).
Lots of Love from All of Us xxx

Hi Lynne,
Thanks for the blog update, was thinking it had been a while. Nice to hear what you have been getting up to, and that you caught up with H & Jez. How long left on OZ? Shame you couldn't take advantage of the Whitsundays, hopefully Cyclone will have gone by the time you hit Cairns and you can see the reefs there?!
Not much going on here, spoke to Dad last night, he has an unhealthly obsession with the new Marmite but apart from that seems okay! Think he's going to the footie with Matt today.
Enjoy the rest of Oz, take care and enjoy Borneo! xx

Hi Lynne
Hope you have enjoyed Brisbane & the Sunshine Coast (apart from the thorough soaking you got!)
Next stop Borneo wow.....wish I was coming with you I just adore the orang- utangs.I bet you can't wait to get your hands on them!! Hope they are prepared for the visit of the'animal tormentor '!!!Nothing much to report from here weather has been clear and sunny for a couple of weeks now so a welcome change.
Chris has promised to send you a message but i guess it will be in his own time !!!
Jacqui was asking how you were and sends her love I keep her up to date with your whereabouts when I see her at the gym.
Guess your next blog will be from Borneo can't wait to hear all about it.
Take care of yourself.. stay safe
Lots of love xxx
Debra
Well, what can I say? I can't believe your time in Oz is nearly done. I bet you're getting really excited about Borneo now.
Ian got back on Sunday night, very tired but elated with the whole experience. The whole group of 12 made it up to the top. The guides said they would normally expect to lose 4 on average out of a group of 12. I don't think he feels the urge to do it again though. He said lack of proper sleep was the biggest problem.
Hope Brisbane has been treating you nicely, but you may well have moved on by now. Hope you're happy wherever you are, and that you'll be in touch soon.
Took some of the kids from school up to the Reebok today to meet some of the BWFC players for a cultural diversity experience! Lots of other schools there too. Johan Elmander (Sweden), what a bonny lad!!
Keep looking after yourself. Lots of Love from All of Us xxx

Hi Honey
Hopefully we will get to speak tonight so all of this will either be old news or our skype will be boring.
After we spoke to you on Saturday we went to watch George play football. 2-2 draw. When we got home i did some housework (wow bet you miss that) and then we took Jackson to the woods for a walk. Do you remember the woods where we picked the mushrooms and then you and Chris would not let me eat them? Well we went there and he spent most of the walk off his lead and practicing his recall. It was so lovely and quiet, we forgot how beautiful that woods was.
On Sunday morning we had no football match or training so got to have a lie in (well got up at 7 instead of 6.30). We had a nice relaxing morning and then took Jackson down to the beach for the afternoon. It was a lovely day (not as beautiful as you are used too but a ton better than what we have had recently) and we even managed to squeeze in a pint before we started home.
Chris came into London yesterday and left Jackson with me in the office for 3 hours. He was so well behaved and everyone loved him. We got the train home in rush hour and it didnt bother him at all. Had a quick tea and then straight to puppy class. There was the most gorgeous bull mastif in his class. I couldnt leave her alone. Her paws were the size of Jacksons head. He did really well and made me very proud. I cant wait for you to meet him. I am pestering him regularly just to get him in training for when he finally meets the chorving master.
By the time you read this it will be your Wednesday and only 7 full days till you start making your way to Borneo. Wow i get butterflies just thinking about it.
Love you massive.

Hello lovey
I'm sorry it's been ages since I left a message on here. I was really ill with the flu last week and top of that Aunty Laura has had a couple of strokes and has been in hospital, so I have been trying to visit her also.
I will go round to Debra's one evening and then we can talk on skype, it seems like ages since I've seen you!
We are all missing you like mad and can't wait to hear all the stories when you get back. So make the most of it all and Borneo isn't far away now. How wonderful will that be???!!
Thinking of you lots, keep safe and speak soon.
