Just read your half blog (eating break). So pleased you're thrilled with your Borneo experience. Really looking forward to hearing the rest of it. Ian loved his Kilimanjaro experience, but did say he would not relish doing it again.
Have just had a few days in Jersey. Really enjoyed it. Nice place - had never been before. Bit of a cross between Cornwall, Wales and France. Alexia came with us. Not her idea of a holiday, but we had some nice meals and her and Ian went go-karting, at which she is a complete nutcase. The weather wasn't the best, but we had a car, so were still able to get about.
Hurry up and finish eating so we can have the rest of the Borneo blog!
Lots of love from all of us xxx

Hi Lynne
Good to hear you have arrived safely in Singapore and visited the famous'Raffles' for your Singapore Gin Sling ...you lucky girl. The fresh food markets sound wonderful and so cheap a great way to experience all the local food ..certainly not the 'pig entrail soup' that sounds horrendous. Sounds as though 'Terence' has been really helpful perhaps fate played a hand when you couldn't find accomodation at first.
The weather here is cold wet & windy so enjoy the heat (despite no sun) Lots of snow in the borders and Scotland were back to Winter again. Certainly no heat affected legs here more like chilblains with the cold!!
Going out for lunch shortly Chris coming for a meal tonight Lisa is in Marrakesh with a girlfriend this week, he is going to Majorca shortly(cycling evryday for a week!!)
Won't be long now before you should achieve one of your longed for amitions to see the Orangutangs in their natural habitat...love every minute but no squeezing and teasing!!! only joking
Take care and look after yourself
lots of lovexxx

Hi Lynne, it's Sunday morning here 10:15 and I thought I would just see how things were going. Glad to hear you've arrived in Singapore and eventually found a Hotel, Terence sounds nice and friendly. The market sounds really interesting together with the food - I wouldn't touch that soup either!!
And now the long awaited Borneo, I do hope it's everything you hoped - ENJOY!!!
When you get back we must go to 'Grill On The Alley' I owe you one remember! Steve and I went to 'Rosso's Restaurant' last night but we didn't enjoy the meal, we won't be going there again.
Keep safe, love you loads xxxxx

Hi there Mummy in Law...Sorry I didn`t see you on Skype on Weds but I was in bed as was on an early on Thursday. Paul updated me on what was occuring and told me all about your "situation" in Singapore with the guy being in your face. Well at long last it is nearly Borneo time - bet you cant wait! Then home...it has gone quick! On that note - I am off work 14-16th April and I think you get back 14th so I will be around - so will pick you up from Heathrow. We are then seeing James in concert on the 16th. This weekend we are going to Carla's on Sat to see Jackson and then going to the Farmers Market on Sunday. Anyway, take lots of care and be careful in the jungle - love you loads and cannot wait to see you on the 14th xxx

Hi Lynne, it is Friday evening approx 6:30 pm. I've just arrived home from work, thank God it's the weekend. My Appraisal went well so I should be thankful that something positive came out of this week!!
I'm sorry you didn't get to see the Barrier Reef, you're not having much luck with the weather. You should have tried the Scuba Diving trip. What a small world, you just don't imagine you would see someone from Horwich out there.
Glad to hear you loved Cairns after feeling unsure at the beginning. Enjoy the luxury while you can Lynne it may be a while before you experience it again.
I hope Bianca the nutter made a good job of your hair!! Read the book Lynne and let me know whether it's as good as she says it is.
Hope you have a good journey to Singapore and keep safe.
Love you loads xxxxxxxxxxxx

Hiya Lynne Well hun i've only just discovered you are already on yer trip ! Sorry. It only seems like 5 mins since you were down here in North Wales with Jacqueline discussing your plans and I was excited for you then ! Plus with me advancing memory loss I'd completely forgotten when yer trip was scheduled ! So i will be keeping a keen eye on your blogs now I know you are there. I'm envious especially now my travelling has been curtailed. .... so will enjoy the ups with U and empathize with the less glamorous down bits! I have been watching Cairns on the telly today 2 would U believe ! It was Charlie Borman on his travels from Aussy to Japan. I'm abit of an armchair traveller........now (a clear Saddo) ! Good luck with yer travels & adventures. Its only raining & gone cold again here in Wales so yer missing nought ! Expect the snorkelling will be ace This blog thing is brill Our Ben enjoyed Borneo, so I hope you will too. Hug an Orangutan for me pls, its one of my wish list things to do ! Take care and love from the Archers et al x x x x x
