Hi John, I am presently in Amsterdam with Richard and Trevor. We have been walking the various streets and bye ways and have been shocked by what we have found. It appears that young and not so young women sit in windows semi naked trying to lure young impressionable men in for things that are quite disgusting to write on your blog, it is my intention to complain to a Policeman when I can find one as it is all very embarrassing and quite unnecessary. I suggest that you never come to this dreadfully liberal country, it is a shame that Mrs Thatcher no longer runs this country as she could have sent the Royal Navy over here to teach the Dutch people a lesson for allowing such depravity onto their streets. Okay so below i have listed some accomodation (found both from lonely planet guide and also reviews on the internet). I cant garantee what any of them are like, but all have decent ish reviews. Might be worth checking them out first though, as you never know. Also all the guides recommed you ask to see more than one room, as they can often be significantly different. Also i dont mind if we stay in ones that arent dirt cheap to start with and that are midrange, as i think we should ease into the whole this if poss. You may also want to confirm the price when your there to make sure its nothing dodgy.The addresses are also enclosed, obviously they are written in a format diffent to our addresses but, hopefully these details will be of use.
