Glad you're feeling better now. You had us all worried for a while. Mind it will make you appreciate NHS hospitals now, won't it!!
Enjoy the biking etc but don't do what you did when we were in Cornwall! Winter's back here and heating will be on again tonight - reckon we've had our summer....
Tor and Suzy have done the first part of their Maths GCSE this morning - I bet you remember it well!
Take care and lots of love from the Savilles.

Johns Dad
Glad to see that you are on the mend, are you sure that you went to a hospital putting a drip in your thumb is definitely not the done thing. I was speaking to Dr Rawes the other day and he couldn't believe what I was telling him regarding your emergency treatment even he didn't fancy going to India to do his Missionary Medicine!
If your interested in whom won the FA Cup this year it was Portsmouth 1 Cardiff 0...it wasn't particularly rivetting. Instead of keep using your mobile and costing everyone a fortune why don't you try and but a phone card, apparently it is a very cheap way to call back to England!
I bet you cannot wait to get back to be able to drive in England...Mr Darling the Chancellor has kindly deferred the fuel tax from the budget until October unleaded petrol is now only costing on average £1.15p a litre, how do they do it so cheap? The Labour Government are certainly running the Country very well, they are bound to get in at the next General Election...I can't wait to vote!
Take care and keep of the curries you know it gives you wind!

Hi Johnny,
Cool haircut! Fantastic to see all your pictures and hear all your stories. Those temperatures sound lethal, you must be enjoying the cooler air now. We have been on holiday. I finally talked "The Scottish One with the long pockets and short arms" to take us to Barbados for ten days. Absolutely brilliant. We will have to talk your mum and dad into coming with us. Craig had a fantastic time in Jamaica. He's now saving to go back to America for yet another week long drunken party! We are always thinking of you John and wondering what you are doing. Keep safe and take care and most importantly keep your mum and dad posted! IT IS THEIR JOB TO WORRY AND CARE FOR YOU!!!!! (Lecture over, you are my God-Son so I am entitled to nag.) Enjoy every minute of your time out in India and yes, I wouldn't mind a Pashmina too!!! Love Sue and the rest of the Parker clan.

Hi Johnny
Photos are excellent! What a painstaking process to make silk though - hope you bought a few bits and pieces to bring home. Buy plenty of pashminas for Christmas pressies and you'll be very popular!
Well, everything here is plodding on as usual. Tor starts her GCSEs this week - RE and Maths and English Lit next week. The pressure is on for the next 6 weeks! Weather very hot recently so doing plenty of gardening whilst soaking up the sun. The vegetable plot is coming along nicely. By the time you get back you'll be able to sample some of the produce (as long as they haven't been eaten by the slugs and caterpillars!).
Hope all is well and enjoy the rafting and biking.
Lots of love and look after each other.
Johns Dad!
Hi John,
Enjoyed your recent photographs, glad that you are still having a great time. I attended the last game of the Championship season, Charlton 4 Coventry 1 I then had to endure the scores coming in from around the country to fins out that we stayed up by the skin of our teeth as Leicester City had failed to score, therefore they went down..we were one place out of the bottom three, so another season in the Championship. I wasn't that impressed with Casper Schmeichel either, he made two dreadful errors and gifted Charlton easy goals, I may need to pull the green jersey on once more and perform at the Ricoh!
The Country is still basking in sunshine + the good old Labour party were given a resounding thrashing at the local elections the other day. You never know Gordon Brown may be out before you get back to Britain..God willing!
We received the parcel which had pillow cases etc.....but haven't seen any other package you may have sent with your other clothes in.
We all attended the theatre the other day to see The Jersey Boys, and can certainly recommend it.....a very good show everyone enjoyed it.
Keep safe and regards to Charlotte
Suzy
