Hi all, here we go again, day 2.
We are off to see two very important place in Vancouver
1 Capilano Suspension bridge
2. Grouse Mountain
The suspension Bridge is 450 ft ( 137 m) long and 230 ft high (70 m) high and been here since 1889. The bush land around this beautiful bridge ranges from sapling to trees 205ft by 20ft by 400/800 years old . It was very peaceful for a while and the silent was refreshing, then as if a sudden storm had hit the noise level rose by at least 80% and free walk ways become over crowded exist stage left and off to the bus stop using our new found knowledge of the transport system we jumped on 326 bus to Grouse Mountain.
10 minutes up the road and the bus pulls in to Grouse Mountain, this turn out to be a great part of the day, only drawback was because of the mayor Forrest fire the view we went there to see was gone covered in smoke, again the pic tell the story
The first thing that greet us is the Skyride the largest aerial tramway system in North America, the one in the cover picture. Next we met and greeted by two full grown grizzle bears. We watch these boys for a fair time and we're reward with some beautiful photos some within arm length, the pic will tell there own stories.
Follow the painted bear tracks to the next entertainment and you will find the lumberjack show, this is a very funny and enjoyable
The next to greet us is the Birds of prey. This is a fabulous show and the Birds are amazing again the pic will show their beauty
We now go to the top of the ski lift.in At the top of lift we than go up to the top of an wind mill called the "eye of the storm"' which stand 200ft above the peaks of Vancouver, would have been absolutely fantastic if not for the smoke , can't help nature can we.
So that summaries day 2 and now leads to tomorrow Day 3, again the eyes are dim, I am slowing down so it's time to snooze, really busy tomorrow.
Love John and Shirley.
