Day 20
That's the theme for today ,again the rain is falling and there seems to be no end to it. We synchronised our watches,we will start our adventure at 10.00 am ,stuff the rain. The girls decide to get a lift to town ,but us macho men that walking 4 ks was a healthier option ,it may have been but the rain got heavier and we got soaked. It took about half an hour to walk it but on reaching the town we found the town was not that big ,that around Three thousand people live and work here ,that there are more boats than cars, there There pubs ,two liquor stores and two super Markets. There is the high road or the low road that will get you into town, there is two sport shops that sell of course fishing gear and hunting gear , a museum a central school and two churches, four coffee shops ,a mans barber and a post office.all of us decided to walk home as we all were wet anyway and of course it rained harder.
Later we went to the pub for tea but this time a guest a the B&b gave us a lift , food was good not something to rave about, but there was a artwork about the 100 different names to describe rain ,Shirley had a close look and straight away said it should be 101 because they had missed Pi--ing rain.
Tomorrow we we do the the dream part of this tour for me we are going to see the Bears fishing at Anan bear observatory , I am excited.
Well today held little excitement ,but as per normal we Australians will find things to do even if it is just walking in the rain ,could be a song title .
Looking forward to the BEARS
Shirley and John
