We arrived in Southampton in record time, just three and half hours drive from Rotherham, no traffic today. It's just like York with stone walls but with a huge port.
We had a nice Italian meal at Buon Gustos, which means "greedy people that have big appetites", perfect for us Ocean Liner folks! Then it was off to the Mayflower Theatre for pantomime Aladdin with Paul O'Grady as Lilly Savage (Twanky), oh yes we did!
On our way back we saw a city fox cross our path on our way to Bargate Arch, for the tram enthusiast to get his picture (JB!), it's very historic, the trams only just fitted through back in the 1930's!
One more sleep, then we're off to the port in the morning to find the Queen Victoria with our 8 suitcases and bags, hope they have room for us!
