Queen Elizabeth arrived in San Pedro, Los Angeles on Saturday and many of the friends we made during the last two weeks left us to head home. Our waiters Marik and Alexandria also left on this sectors, we were sad but happy that we will meet our new bunch of shipmates on our voyage to Sydney.
Los Angeles covers such a large area and our time was short so we headed north to Hollywood, our first stop was the Chinese Theatre and Pavement of the Stars. Colin Firth is the latest star and we spotted many more. We had stayed in West Hollywood twice before so we didn't fight with crowds to do the tourist stuff, instead our next stop was the Beverley Center Mall for some retail relaxation for Stuart which ended in a new Calvin Klein jacket, shirt and shoes and Ben Sherman for JB.
At the port, the San Pedro Tramway runs against the dockside with vintage trams just like Ybor City back in Tampa with beautiful "Bellagio" style fountains dotted along the route.
Back on board we've 4 days across the Pacific ocean while heading for Lahaina on Thursday and Stuart's birthday at sea on Monday, we're having a gathering for our world traveller friends in the afternoon and then dinner at The Verandah French Bistro on Monday evening.
