a salaam aleikum,

We'll we're back in Dubai but this time to meet Andy (our son) for Christmas. His ship was in port there from the 24th through the 27th. It wasn't the "normal" Christmas you probably celebrated where you are but it was very special for us. We hadn't seen Andy for several years and when this opportunity came up we jumped on it.

We did the 'Big Bus tour', Andy hadn't done it before. We got to see some other sights we hadn't gotten to before.

The Palm Islands (man made) were open with the Atlantis Resort out at the head of it. We went there for lunch on the day Andy left. The picture on the front of this is the Burj Al Arab at sunset taken from there.

We left Dubai on the 27th and sent out our clothes to the laundry for our trip to Paris leaving on the 29th.
