Greetings,
Several have asked about Mr Scott. He is still at home with Rachel and is doing fine, NOW. She had to take him in for surgery the other day for kidney stones. He had several in his urethra causing a lot of pain and more in his bladder. After an overnight stay Rachel said that he came running to her to "get out of that place, and you could tell he was feeling much better". He is in good hands with her.
We've reservations for anniversay dinner tomorrow night at the Radisson. For the past several years we've tried to have it on a boat...last year in San Francisco Bay, the year before on the Thames in London. This year year will continue the tradition albiet the boat is drydocked (don't laugh, the best we could do over here).
Today is our 'short' day, only 8 hours. Jan goes in 7-4 and John 6-3, more like a day of rest comparatively. Jan's AC went out in her office yesterday for 6 hours and was miserable. I kept telling her she needed to move to another one but she 'toughed' it out.
John got his car yesterday so our mobility is much improved, now that it is getting too hot to go out.
Time to get ready for work.
TaTa for now,
J&J
