'Poor Niagara!' is what Eleanor Roosevelt reputedly remarked and we can only agree with her...
The Iguazu waterfalls are stunning!
We are literally in the Argentinian/Brazilian/Paraguayan jungle, as the falls are located close to all of these countries' borders.
Therefore we decided to spend two nights on the Argentinian side and two on the Brazilian side. Paraguay was rejected given that we were advised not to even walk from the border as there was a high likelihood of getting mugged...
'In the jungle, the mighty jungle...'John and Charlotte slept 4 nights... - it is an incredible feeling to be in this lush, green, fertile and humid area!
We did extensive walks to explore the rainforest bits around the falls and to be able to see the falls themselves from every possible angle.
The 'cataratas' ( as they are called in Portuguese ) are truly spectacular and humbling! The noise and power is immense.
