Hello again! Another beautiful day here .. hot and even though I have been really good with the sunscreen I can feel the sunburn tonight. Probably cos I’m a Nigel no mates and can’t reach my whole back ha ha

Woke up this morning with hives all over my ankle. I got stung by a jelly fish or something yesterday. There was no itching or pain last night so I figured it was OK but obviously not! Seems to have calmed down a bit tonight though so fingers crossed.

Two dives again this morning. The first one out towards Manado Tua – 2 big turtles and a white tip shark. The second dive we saw 6 even bigger turtles! I could’ve followed them until my tank ran out they are amazing.
The coral is really good around Bunaken and there are huge shoals of fish of every colour imaginable. I wish I could stay for a couple more days but I am missing the animals so am happy to be going back anyway .

After lunch I went for a bit of a snorkel to see if I could spot the Dugongs but no luck I was probably a bit early so I sat on the dive boat with the dive crew and waited for a while but still nothing so settled back on my balcony for the rest of the afternoon.

Tomorrow morning at 6 I am going on a dolphin watch before my last two dives. I leave Bunaken tomorrow afternoon and will meet the driver Anthony from Tasikoki at the airport as he is picking up a new volunteer – Jennifer from the UK who I think is volunteering for 3 weeks.
