Hi Folks, welcome to the next edition of the blog! We had a welcome respite after yesterday's trauma (bit over dramatic but I have to try and sell it!) as we made the short 40 mile ride south (and mainly all down hill!) from Tongue to Lairg! Breakfast I must say was not a highlight of today. Quick Porridge and a rather dry muffin for me and yoghurt for Max and an uninspiring brew. Still, we both had managed a reasonable nights kip and were rareing to go again......

Ok so as you would have guessed by now, the blog never happened. This was due to a variety of reasons, including lack of availability to computer access, time available in pre & post rides each day (minimal to say the least!) and the fact we were both shot to pieces come 8pm each evening (or in the pub!)..
