Gee have I said it enough, what an amazing place Las Vegas is. To some it is probably too tacky and touristy and whatever but we loved all that..........lol We seen two Cirque de Soleil shows with the first being "KA" and oh my god what an amazing show, it was truly breathtaking. The next night we seen another Cirque De Soleil show called "O". We had heard alot about it and yes it was also an amazing show but we were definately more impressed with "KA". Seriously if you get a chance to see a show like that, definately do it. We seen a few exhibits while we were here too, one at the Tropicana which was the Titanic Exhibition. What an amazing exhibit, which real artifacts on display, really really amazing. Another exhibit we seen was the Bodies, which I had seen in Adelaide while Andrew waited in the car but this time he chose to come in. It was bigger than the exhibit in Adelaide and it was also amazing. We done a neon lights, night bus tour which takes you to a couple of different stops like the bellagio water show, animatronic show in ceasars and then on to Freemont Street which is actually the original strip, this is where the first casinos where. Freemont street has a canopy over it and at 10pm they put on a giant show on the canopy above you, kind of like watching a very very large screen and the show we seen was a tribute to queen, it was very well done. Now our impression of Freemont Street is that it is definately cheap, we had tea for under $5 which was 2 hotdogs and chips. I don't want to say too much bad stuff about the place because we only spent a short time there but lets just say it is not like the Las Vegas strip, it is kind of a bit run down and the people don't look that friendly. It is probably the best place to go if you don't have much money and all you want to do is gamble because you can eat cheap and sleep cheap. So after leaving Vegas we were heading off to San Francisco which we are both looking forward to although like I have said we like Vegas alot :-) would love to organise a bit trip here with friends in about 5 years or so, come here and celebrate New Years or something, it would be fantastic. Anyway off to San Fran we go.
