The journey begins. We got off to a good start leaving after church on Sunday morning.A beautiful day.We stopped a couple of times at beaches in N.S.W. but pressed on to Maclean north of Grafton.Maclean reckons to be the most Scottish town in Aus. And has its power poles painted at the bottom with every clan tartan and that's it.
Today Monday another beautiful day our first stop was Ulmarra an old port on the river but it was closed and the most exciting thing was beating a coach full of tourists to the toilets. We passed through Grafton whose claim to fame is its jacaranda trees but of course they are not in flower yet.Wake up at the back there it does get more exciting well marginally more interesting.Just north of Coffs Harbor are some small places with beautiful beaches including Red Rock where we had our picnic lunch.Tonight we are staying at Macksville and that's all I have to say about that, don't want you dying of excitement so early in the trip.
