The train pulled smoothly into Prague early in the morning, and when I say smoothly, I mean it hammered on the brakes without warning, sending me flying into the next couchette, or more accurately, it's now awoken and angry occupant. He needed to get off in Prague and would've overslept if I hadn't, but some people just have no gratitude.I bravely ran away, hoping his half naked state would be enough to stop him following me and happily it was.I walked through the station with a smile, this was the kind of place I wanted to be, a city awash with pubs and clubs where the beer was cheaper than water. Then I remembered I didn't like Czech beer and could really do with some water actually.Small matter though, for this was going to be a beautiful, positive day.I stepped outside and realised, for the first time on the trip, it was raining.b*****.
I navigated my way to the hostel with usual aplomb, and set back out again to find some breakfast, stumbling across a dingy little place that looked ready to be condemned from the outside.Inside though, the whole place was a shrine to D-Day with photos and posters plastered over every wall. The frankfurter soup was just what I needed and it was an interesting place to look around.Back at the hostel, there was a pub crawl advertised including a free drink at every place and an hour of free drinks at their own bar, all for under a tenner.I was sold and signed up immediately.Getting there that night, I met up with a couple of Geordie girls, one of whom was quickly ahead of me on the pint count. She pointed this out with a smirk, a clear challenge. The rest of the night gets hazy, especially as they turned it into 2 hours of free drinks at their, but most importantly, I'm pretty sure I won.
So to Munich, and Andechs for Challenge 4!
