Just to let you all know that we're still alive and about to wander into the deep dark depth that is Cambodia (well tomorrow anyway... as wil here, we're told that there are internet cafes on every corner so we should be ok to keep in touch - very difficult to call tho (unless you top up our mobiles ! :-) ) he he, but really, we probably won't have signal - it is the deep dark depths after all.

We've been avoiding the sun as much as possible and we have so far had 2 bangkokians poke us and tell us we are very white - thanks for that! sure that's politically incorrect at some level but then we are in thailand where apparently anything goes (including boiling fish with their heads on in the street in the hope that someone might get through the smell to buy one - happy to say we've so far been able to refrain!

so it would perhaps be better if you got some of your things there, the only problem is it is the very beginning of your holiday and you have four months to go yet. Hope you are having a lovely time and not getting too hot (you should be so lucky it is very cold here.) all our love to you both.
