Jody and Danny Hi everyone, As you've probably all heard by now, we're returning home a week early. We didn't get much chance to explain why on the phone but it's just because we've been here long enough really. We've had some rainy and cloudy days which completely defeats the whole point of Fiji (and there's nothing to do here when you can't sunbathe!) and aparently it's winter here so it's not going to get much better. So we're coming home!! :-) If you have any Duty Free orders (we'll buy it in LA) then now's the time to speak up!! Dad, The flight number from Fiji (Nadi) to LA is QF3839 (www.Qantas.com if you want to check on its progress) and it leaves Nadi at 22.00 local time (11 hours ahead of you there so it'll be 1pm on 16July) Then the connecting flight leaves LA at 17.50 local time (not sure how far ahead of you LA is but think it'll be about 3.30am on 17 July there.) The flight number is BA282 (British Airways) We should land in Heathrow Terminal 1 at 12 midday UK time (!) on 17July so we'll call you once we're through Customs etc. If you're at work we can organise a time and place to meet you when we speak. Is that OK? Let me know through the website if there are any problems. Right, Kirsty, well done on your Cabin Crew test... will you be on our flight home to serve us our in flight meals and give us our headphones? he he Also, Good luck with the Driving Test if it's before i get home... maybe Dad will let you drive down to Heathrow when you pass!!! ;-) We're going to need a lesson in English currency when we return. kirst hey u 2, hope ur ok, mom said you phoned yesterday sorry i missed u i was on a driving lesson, got my test next week im really nervous i have started taking some tablets called kalms which are supposed 2 calm your nerves down (hense the name). we went out for a meal last night to the hunny bee inn for mom b'day brilliant meals there but very hot in side so we didnt stop long. I finished college last week for about 10 weeks im going to be so bored lol! definitely going back next year. Ihad the little terror today, took him to brintons park in the paddling pool he loved it apart from when he fell face first into the water. lol. i cant believe its only 2 weeks and 4 days until you come back its gone so quick, i wont see u for an extra 2 weeks because im off to greece, yay!! Anyway have a brilliant time and dnt b too brown! love kirst x x x xx

Emma Sakalas hello How are you? hope the tans are coming on safely NHS em does worry about these things. Life in the Sakalas house is very hot at the moment just finished doing a rain dance in the garden! Sarah and Ol are now in the air safely and heading away! Sarahs case was that heavy it took two of us to get it in the boot! I think they may loose that suitcase! (although it is in true sarah style bright pink!) Jonty and I are trying to find somewhere to live no success yet but hey it might happen! How is Fiji? did you find Dr Green dan? Is the cheese and crisp sandwhich diet talking it's toll? momma Hi you two, well we are having a heatwave here only trouble is I've got to work booooo.Em has just taken Ol ans Sarah to airport , they are off to Morocco for 2 wks, Lou goes on Monday to Gran Canaria. Jonathan flew to Cork yesterday for a conference , so its just me and Em at home.Going to see Lauren tonight, shall I book you in for when you come home? Just 2 let u know Jode that 2 people have left off the bar and i know u said that u were thinking of maybe coming back 2 f and b temporarily when u get home so just thought id let u know in case u still wanted 2 coz this would b the best time 2 get in touch with them. Jody Hi everyone...just a quick hello as i realised i haven't put a post on in a while! As Danny said, the food here is a bit rubbish - they are charging too much for chicken kiev and chips and calling it fresh chicken stuffed with cheese and ham and rolled in fresh breadcrumbs with sauteed potatoes and fresh local vegetables!!! oh well... back soon to the only country in the so-far visited world that can cook apparently!! Like Danny said, we're spending most of our time here sunbathing - the tans are coming along well... Danny has reduced to Factor 15... but is reapplying every 15 minutes... i'm pretty sure that means he's wearing at least factor 30 most of the time and is becoming quite brown!! I've been making the mistake of wearing my sarong wrapped round me most of the time (i just can't take the sun like Danny can... i have to go sit in the shade for half an hour after every 10 minutes of sun!!! oh well, half of my legs and my face is brown!! If i don't get to put another message on before (internet rates here at the resort are extortionate compared to in town - the same as everything else) Happy Birthday to mom on Tuesday 4th... i'll call you on the special day!!! start thinking about what you want as a present... we'll go shopping for it when i get back! Don't worry son I will buy plenty of your studentville value mince for you to be Jamie Oliver with on your return.(only joking it will be M&S finest(,there is a branch in the Grove now)Was very impressed with your spelling on your last message son this chillin' must be good for the brain cells. Ol , Sarah,Jonathan and Em are off to Alton Towers today, it looks like its going to be hot so hope they take factor 50 with them.I had a day off yesterday and went to Manchester with Andrea we hit Primark big time, 3hrs in total in there you would have LOVED it Dan!!!!!Saw Mandy and Chris at the weekend , Chris enjoyed the sky diving pictures, they send their love .Birthday Girl Soon Jody.!!!Can't wait to see you both, take care, love you both lots .momma xxxxxx
