Hi All

Well had such a great day today, said my goodbyes to eveyone before hopping on the train at runcorn with my bargain 8quid faIr..Even got a nice bottle of NZ sparkling chardonnay/pinot noir for the journey...even in crystal cut glasses dont ya know haha...Was virtually drunk by the time we arrived at Euston...never mind tryin to lug a 100ltr backpack on and off the tube to finish the journey. Bearing in mind we got there with no distractions (apart from a brief stop at the pub at hounslow central - where a reprobate tried to sell us his mountain bike)

After dropping our gear off at the hotel we decided to go for something to eat...we decided to go in hounslow town centre (not really a wise choice) but we managed to survive...we dedcided to go the this little indian place and i swear you could have heard a pin drop when we walked in...it was full to the brim with non english speaking asians ( not being racist) who looked at us as if we had just landed.

The menu was also in indian, the only things we could syphen out were bhajis,byriani and naan bread so guess what we had to eat haha - anyways the food was most definetely the best indian food i have ever eaten and the portions were hugeee...was expecting a stunner when he brought the bill..specially as we were in london also...to our astonishment it was only 22.50 i was gobsmacked.

After our feed we decided to head back to the hotel for a night cap only to discover that the bar closed at 11pm!! so we went the shop next door and got a few bottles of the good old becks..where i gained the nickname 'miss liverpool' oooh how special i felt haha

After a few beers i hit the hay as i had to be up at the crack of dawn for our little adventure round that london x x
