Hi Eveybody

Well we took the train - cheating I know and it did feel like a perverse kind of guilty pleasure. Sitting in comfortable seats in an air-conditioned carriage and still covering the miles at a greater rate of knots than normal. Still we´re here and loving this city. We spent yesterday sight-seeing and taking in all the spectacular city sights and drinking in the bustling atmoshere of a city that never sleeps (our hostal room is right next to the road). Pictures at aa later date again.

The cycle routes in the city are brilliant with cycle ´roads´ complete with cycle traffic lights and cycle parking and cycle hire all over the city.

It does seem strange being in a city and not doing the shops and shopping thing but as space is at a premium it is impossible to do. Again a perverse pleasure in NOT having to do the shopping bit and getting home thinking Oh heck I´ve spent too much money again.

We are due to get on the road again tomorrow and are looking forward to cycling along the seafront for a change where it is decidedly cooler and more chance to cool off in the sea. Although we have enjoyed being in Barcelona it will be nice to get back to the relative peace and quiet of the open road again.

Anyway more next time as usual washing to do before heading off tomorrow
