What a fantastic first day! Left the house at 7:30 and although we had a few issues with our head sets, (thanks for praying Shauna!), it quickly resolved itself and we were on our way! Beautiful weather, blue skies and sun made the day extra special but here are a few high lights!
Seeing a beautiful live eagle right beside the Eagles Nest sign outside of Fredericton! Meeting a "young" man of 73 who shared his own "cross country" motorcycle experience that he took for the second time last year at 72 years of age!!!
What an inspiration he was!!
Now we are in a campground in St. Balise(right outside Edmunston), our tent is set up, Mike is reading, we enjoyed a fairly decent supper at a local restaurant, and very soon we will be snuggling down to get rested up for tomorrow!
Who knows what tomorrow will bring! I can't wait! Thank you to all who are praying for safe travels - we so appreciate them!
Next chat? Tomorrow somewhere on the other side of Montreal!! Prayer partners: please pray for safety driving around that city!!!
Until next time,
Joan and Mike

Phil Glad things are going well. The tent looks like it is a good size. Wish we were on a bike trip but grandkids are tying us down Heading to Bridgewater on Monday to get bike MVI done. Take care, we will be thinking of you both, and will be following your blog Keep the rubber side down. Hopefully Joan will stay awake, and be a second set of eyes to watch for traffic unlike Sandy who falls asleep Best Regards Phil & Sandy
Christine Glad one of your longest legs has been completed and looks like a perfect refuge for R&R until your next day travels...not to mention a true inspiration put on your path ( Bless him) . Keep the shiny side up and my thoughts and prayers are with you...
