Happy Easter everyone! All enjoying yourselves no doubt by stuffing your faces full of chocolate eggs! Well there's not an easter bunny or egg in site out here, so we had to make do by having freshly cooked lobster, tropical fruit and banana bread on the beach. And all for 2 dollars each. It's a very hard life! Am now getting super brown, finally my skin has given up being sensitive! Not doing much here in Nha Trang to be honest, just chilling out with my chums Tamsin and Sue. We got the night train up here, going by the fact that Thailands night trains are so good...well in Vietnam, they're NOT!12 hours of sheer hell, we got no sleep whatsoever and these dodgy old Korean men just wouldn't leave us alone. Anyways, we found a really nice guesthouse here, right by the Sailing Club on the beach front. Ideal location for restaurants etc but is nice and quiet too! Sue and I went on a snorkelling day trip yesterday which turned out to be...hmmmm, interesting. Got to swim a lot on islands off the coast but the visibility was poor for snorkelling, nothing like the Maldives and after lunch we had to listen to Vietnamese kareoke for an hour....kill me now. Anyways, we're off to the local hot springs and mineral mud baths for today. Just lying around getting conditioned and brown. Heard you had snow back home hahahahahaha! Going back to Saigon on the 18th, spending a day doing the Cuchi tunnels and all that napalm in the morning stuff, then off to stay with Lisa in Sydney! Salt and vinegar crisps here I come......
