The flight you did sounds well cool! Was it expensive? Are you doing anymore crazy stunts whilst your out there? We've only a week left here before we head to Christchurch. Where abouts are u's at the mo?
"Give me a home amongst the gum trees, with lots of plum trees, a sheep or two or a kangaroo, a clothes line out the back, verander out the front and an old rockin chair"!! Still got the bloody tune in my head!! b*****!! xx

Yes thank you Jo for uploading some really dodgy photos of me and making me look like a complete nutter!.......I must cut down on the drink! Anyways sounds like you had a great time in the Whitsundays......told ya you'd like whitehaven beach! I flew an Pitts Special open cock-pit plane yesterday and made it do some roll overs my self....how cool is that. He then took over at the end and did some more crazy aerobatics...brilliant!

Hiya all, just got back from a sailing trip around the Whitsundays! 3 days an 2 nights on Tallarook 3 (also known as T-money,as it's run by a pimp.....only jokin!) What a ball. There was 21 passengers and 4 crew on board this really cramped boat (or should I say matchbox!!). The majority of us were English, there was also a few Dutch, Danish, Canadian and German. There was a range of ages between us which made for an interesting time. We all had 2 things in common: up for a good time and drinking! Always nice to find a bit of common ground:)) During the trip we spent time Scuba Diving, snorkelling, singing, sunbathing and of course drinking;)) We were taken to Whitehaven beach and Hook island. Whitehaven beach....let me think of how best to describe it...Beautiful!! It looks exactly like something you would see on a picture postcard! But like with most beaches in this neck the woods, you have to wear a stinger suit before going into the water as there are alot of nasties that want to sting you! I've taken a couple of pics of us in our stingre suits.....very fetching!! Scuba Diving was absolutley amazing! If any of you are thinking of doing it, definatly give it a go! I freaked out a couple of times but was I sorted my head out i was fine!! I got to swim amongst the coral reef and lots of different types of fishes. Some of the colours were amazing, I only wish i'd of had an underwater camera. Snorkelling was also good experience but its was nicer to dive and get right close up to things.
The group got on really well together and the crew were up for a laugh as well. The captain of our ship (little boat) had his guitar with him so he's was always strumming a tune or two. There was also the odd seranade to a couple of us!.......the lyrics are however not printable! The food on the boat was second to none and we ate like kings! I tell yer I'm gonna be sooooooooo fat by the time I get back home:(( Gotta start cutting back the portion sizes I reckon!!! We had fantastic weather apart fromthe last day when it pretty much p**sed it down for the majority of the day!
Thats all for now folks, am off tonight for free beer with the rest of the T-Money troops. xx

Hi all I am now in Airlie Beach after a 14hr coach trip from Rainbow beach! What a killer! At least this time I didn't get swollen ankles;) Result! I saw Aaron and Gunnar when I got off the coach...was a surprise. Unfortunatly they were both waiting for there coach out of there;(( Bummer. (for those of you who don't know who Aaron and Gunnar are, they were both in my group on Fraser island!)
I've booked myself into a Hostel called Bush village.....no jokes please (little bear!!), it's a bit pricey at 12 quid a night but never mind there's a pool and breakfast is laid on every morning, plus a taxi to and from the amenities. It's not actually that far too walk,so think i'll get the old pins working rather than makin my ass any bigger sitting in Taxis!
Gotta go and get ready for a night on the tiles with a group of English that are staying at the same hostel. xx

Hey Jo!

Just got back from Frasier Island today. had a great time, everyone in the group got on. We had far too much alcohol with us but we did the nation proud....out of 90 something cans of beer and 8 Litres of Goon (cheap cheap cheap wine!), we had left only 4 litres of wine and 4 beers. Go Team!! I know I keep saying this but the piccies will be put on the site shortly! We went to Lake Mckenzie, Lake wabby, Elli Creek, Indian Head and the champagne pools during our trip. Both the lakes are Fresh water lakes, Mckenzie has however no oxygen in the water and should of drained away years ago. It was really strange swimming in there, as it made you quite tired quickly. The sand at both the lakes is a brilliant white as the sand is extremely fine. You definatly needed your sunglasses as it was quite blinding. Lake Wabby has little fish in it that eat the dead skin of you! It was real strange feeling having them nibbling at your legs, feet etc. I was peeling a little bit so they were having a right old feast.
Elli Creek was literally as it says on the tin....a creek. We walked up it then let the current take us back down to the bottom. We never swam in the sea as your not allowed to at Frasier Island because the risks are too high, what with sharks and some deadly Jellyfish to contend with! Hence why we went to lakes to swim.

Booked myself into Dingo's today after spending the day at the beach bbq-ing myself. I went with one of the girls from the hostel but unfortunatly can't remember her name now! It's confusing when your meeting so many new faces! We were put into groups for the Frasier trip at the induction meeting this evening:) In my group there's 1 american, 4 From Guernsey, 3 Germans and myself!! We had a look at the map of places to visit whilst on the Island, ordered our alcohol to take with us, then spent the rest of the night "bonding" They all seem a cool bunch.......should be a good laugh. Gotta go have got an early start tomorrow morning xx
