Today we walked down to catch a cruise took over half hour to get there. We arrived just as cruise about to depart. It was worth it. Did 1 & 1/2 hr cruise the commentary was fantastic. We saw Empire State Building WoW. Brooklyn bridge and more.
Slowly walked back and had an incredible pastrami and corned beef sandwich. Martin had huge serve of Pork chops. Then tried Dunkin donuts coffee was ok. Coffee here is rubbish in America.
Had a rest then out for another bucket list tick. A ride in a carriage in Central Park. We had a lovely white and red carriage our horse was the lovely “Bobby” our driver was very informative. It’s amazing how fantastic it is. Lots of different sports played there. People picnicking. Restaurants. Zoo (wasn’t open today). Concert area. Apparently Good Morning America broadcast tomorrow if you get to the park by 4am tomorrow you can maybe be in the audience. There were people running, people on bikes, people walking thier dogs, & people just walking. Our ride was about 1hr and we still didn’t see it all. Bobby was so gorgeous I got a nuzzle and fed him a carrot.
Next we went looking for some dinner. Found an Italian restaurant we sat at the bar wow the antipasto in front of us looked so amazing and it was all veggies we just had those. Incredible, sweet and sour eggplant, broccolini, potato au gratin, cauliflower, roast veg, & another I forget.
Then we returned to our Country music bar. Young guy he was great. Home late again.
