Day 48 - Hanoi

We had some breakfast at the hotel before getting the bus back to the boat. It was pouring with rain again so we got comfy inside near a window so we could enjoy the views on the way back to main land Vietnam. It took two hours on the boat, so we had lunch in halong city before getting the four hour bus back to Hanoi. Some rude french guys really annoyed me on the bus so I spent the time in a mood haha. We got back to our hotel and realised we had missed the excitement of Hanoi and it's crazy traffic. We went for dinner (KFC, wed had too much vietnamese food the past few days) and went out for drinks. We went back to Le pub, and ended up playing doubles at pool with two American guys. It turns out that our next three or four planned stop offs are the same places they have planned to stop, and they are doing it in a similar time frame, so no doubt we will meet them again somewhere. We stayed till closing time, michael playing pool with one of the staff members, then walked home. Our last night out had been a weekend night, where everything goes on all night. This was a weekday and the place was deserted apart from some street cleaners. It was such a contrast from the mayhem of during the day!
