After last time i updated this i went to see Zodiac at the cinema which was good. Then the next morning i went to the airport to catch my plane to Nadi on mainland Fiji.

After arriving i got the shuttle to Smugglers Cove Resort where we were originally supposed to stay one night only then move on to the islands. However it was really nice with a cool bar that did nice cheap food and it was right on the beach. The beach wasn't that good but the resort had a nice pool which more than compensated. Because it was so nice we decided to save money and not go to the islands and stay there instead. We figured that all we were going to be doing in Fiji was sunbathing so we decided to do it in the cheaper place.

And that was pretty much all i did in Fiji. I slept in late, sunbathed in the day and played 'Mockery Ball' in the pool (its basically a variation on volleyball in the water using various body parts), and then in the evening i had a beer at sunset, had dinner, then we played cards. This was partly due to not having much money but also because there wasn't anything else to do and to be honest it was really nice to have some chill out time. One night a band called 'The Kavaholics' played and we all drank Kava which is a drink they make from grinding up some root or other and it was disgusting and tasted like soil and water. Another night there were some fire dancers who were quite good and we had to get up and dance with them. I also went in to town twice but that was about a 2 hour walk and was pretty horrible. Other than that it was just chill out time which like i said was good but i was pretty bored by the end of my 9 days there. Especially seeing as the boys left 4 days before me.

Thats pretty much all there is to say about Fiji. I am now in LA after flying from Nadi. My flight went via Auckland for some reason even though that was the wrong direction. I then spent 5 hours in Auckland airport mostly on the internet and in burger king then got a 12 hour flight to LA. The flight was cool because i had an entertainment system where i could pick from loads of films, tv programs, and cds to play. I watched The Number 23 which was good, Flags of our Fathers which was ok but not great, Bridge to Teribithia which was actually quite good, and Happy Feet which was rubbish. I also watched the Simpsons and Malcolm in the Middle and as a direct result of this awesome entertainment system i got no sleep!

Next up i have a whistle stop tour around the USA before returning home. I spend 2 days in LA, 2 days in San Francisco, 2 days in Las Vegas. then i fly to Detroit because its the nearest place to Sandusky where i am going to go to Cedar Point amusement park which has loads of record breaking roller coasters and looks awesome. Then i'm going to Washington DC for 2 days, then 2 days in Philadelphia, then 6 days in New York where Rory will be joining me which will be quality. After that its home which seems to have come round really quickly. I suppose i'm gonna have to get a job which is depressing. Ah well its 2 weeks away yet.
