Yesterday crossed cook straight from wellington through to Nelson, pretty windy crossing but not a rough one, (thankfuly for some.) Then some more driving yesterday through to where we are staying. Some pretty nice scenery on the approach through the Sounds down here. Then this morning went skydiving which was pretty good fun, went up in a tiny little plane which seemed to take a lifetime, where you look out the window thinking thats its quite high and you are only half way up. Quite cloudy, windy, rainy, snowy, and at times even icy. So the plane journey up was quite bumpy, but it's a bit disconcerting getting into a plane where even the pilot is wearing a parachute on! Then you get up there, slide the door open and because you are strapped to the instructor then you are hanging out of the plane at 13ooo feet which is fun. We have some not so flattering phots of us hanging out of the plane to go up soon. Falling through the clouds which were Ice crystals, the 50 seconds seems to go quite quick. Then gliding into land. Overall a good way to spend a morning. Harry, oh and please leave us a message.
