So what can I can i say about today, bit of a slow day nothing much being done. Oh unless you count DIVING THE GREAT BARRIER REEF! Well on the way out on a brand new high speed catamaran through a mightily rough sea for an hour, which caused about two thirds of the passengers to be physically sick and one even passed out. But us being hardy souls took it in our stride and water skied behind the boat through six foot waves. Ok, so maybe we are not that hardy. Anyway we got our kit on, all prepared for us which is nice, and went diving. Saw a few things; grey reef shark, blue spoted ray, real clownfish (nemo), pipefish, turtle, trigger fish, pineapple nudibranch, christmas tree worms, and a spanish dancer flatworm, to name but a few. Compared to Thailand there were less fish, but there was greater diversity here, and it's always good to see something different when diving. An early start tomorrow as we move on south to Mission Beach at 7 ish in the morning, just need to find where the bus leaves from... That all for now, harry
