Protest?! After visiting the Grand Palace today (it was beautiful by the way), we accidentally ended up in what our news channels like to call a protest. It was definitely more like a carnival! There was music playing, stalls, games, free food.. absolutely fabulous atmosphere. Obviously we looked extremely out of place because we weren't Thai but still, they were all very welcoming. We did leave as soon as we realised but it was still cool to see.
Finished our day with a trip to a Buddist temple where we watched some monks pray, then slowly strolled around the grounds becoming more and more chilled every minute we were there. Tempting to become a Buddist actually! Haha.
All in all a nice way to end our first trip to Thailand :-) xx
