Wow. It really is a beautiful place! $5 we paid for an all day pass and the trolley train thing, took us anywhere we wanted to go. We first visited Old Town San Diego.. it was like walking through Mexico! Or what I'd imagine walking through Mexico to be like anyway. After many photos we made out way to Little Italy, saw the big famous ships (USS Midway etc.) at the harbour. One stop we couldn't miss, after dad's recommendation was the Gaslamp Quarter - awesome! Would have been better I'm sure if we were on a night out but still very cool to see. Even got to see an art gallery of Chuck Jones' work, no photography unfortunately. The paintings were going for 10-25 thousand $!!!
Bedtime for me now, a very long but very cool day :-) San Diego was a top choice.
