well arrived in bangkok on the 4th of december and realised that it was the kings b'day on the 5th. there was a lot of celebrations going on and the streets were packed with people. on the 5th everybody wore yellow and there was a big firework display and lots of people on the streets. we went out and ended up meeting some french guy 'sam' who we stayed drinking with for the night outside a bar with a bloke playing bob marley on his guitar. got back to the room at 5.45 which would have been good except we has to get the bus to the airport at 6.00. dont remeber much of the flight except we were both still pissed. then it was on to hong kong.
